Back Beach Bãi Sau
The swim on the sunrise side
A long beach on the sunrise side with gentle waves: swim and walk here for a morning or a whole day. The waves are fairly flat and suitable for children, and hotels, restaurants, and umbrella hire line the sand. Keep Front Beach for the evening walk, and come back here after dark for the seafood market.

Walk the sand at the start of the day, then swim, then take an umbrella when the sun is high. The waves are fairly flat and suitable for children. High-end hotels, restaurants, and beach clubs line the strand, and you can try surfing, stand-up paddle, or kite surfing from the sand.

Back Beach faces southeast, so the sun comes up over the water. Small Mountain closes the bay at the south end, where the Christ statue stands above the point and Hon Ba sits off the rocks.
After the swim, stay for the night seafood market on this beach: you pick the fish, crab, or shellfish and how it is cooked. Ask the price of an umbrella or a board before you sit down.
