Front Beach Bãi Trước
The arc between the two mountains
The curved seafront between Big and Small Mountain: walk it at sunrise, or after dark for a drink. Its old name, Tầm Dương, is tied to looking for the sun, and sunrise is the moment here. In the evening the promenade is the lively side of town. Pair it with Bach Dinh and the cable car at the north end.

In the evening the seafront is the lively side of town, with drinks by the water. On the whale festival morning, the 16th of the 8th lunar month, the boat procession sets out from the park here. In 2026 it left at 5:30.
Trần Phú runs north from the arc round Big Mountain, past Bach Dinh and the Ho May cable-car station.
