A 32 m white Mary holding the Child on Big Mountain: a short daytime stop for the statue and the sea. She stands 60 metres above the water on the slope above Bãi Dâu, with a large church beside her. She was inaugurated at the end of 1994. Pair her with Bach Dinh or the cable car on the same hill.

The statue faces the sea from the Big Mountain slope above Bãi Dâu, Mulberry Beach. Building started in 1992, and she was inaugurated on 31 December 1994. She is 32 metres tall and stands 60 metres above the water.

Beside her is the church, begun in 1994: 46 by 26 metres, with seats for 1,000. Come in daylight so the white figure stands out against the sky.
Phổ Đà Sơn, a Teochew temple with an 18 metre white Guanyin, is on the same hillside road, 500 metres from Bãi Dâu.
Getting there and around
The statue is on the Big Mountain slope above Bãi Dâu, north of Front Beach on the Trần Phú side of the hill. Take a taxi or motorbike taxi from either beach.
From Front Beach
North along Trần Phú, the shore road round Big Mountain, to Bãi Dâu.
From the Ho May station
The lower station, 1A Trần Phú, is on the same side of the hill.
