Night one for the falls, night two for a different road. The second day is Phia Oac, a full day west, or Pac Bo, a half day north. Do not put the falls on both.

1 Ban Gioc, the cave, and the pagoda
Sleep in Dam Thuy, or leave Cao Bang city early. Ban Gioc, Nguom Ngao, and Truc Lam Ban Gioc share the eastern valley. Nguom Ngao is about 4 km from the falls. How long you stay is Check on arrival.
2 Phia Oac or Pac Bo
Choose one. Phia Oac is a full day west, up to a 1,935 m summit. Pac Bo is a half day north, about 55 km on provincial road 203. Drive minutes are Check on arrival.
