  • The old town after dark: the covered bridge, Tan Ky House, the halls, the market, and cao lầu.
  • White rose dumplings and grilled fish if you eat by the Thu Bon. Mai Fish is the named courtyard.
  • Japanese Covered Bridge before you turn back. From 10 August 2026 the city fee is 20,000 VND per person per building.

Day 2: A class or a village, then the river

Use the morning for one outing, not three. The sunset boat is the evening. The empty streets are the morning you leave.

  • A cooking class, a countryside ride, or a craft hour. Tra Que, Thanh Ha, and Kim Bong are each a morning. Cam Thanh is a boat hour and the fee is 30,000 VND. How many fit is Check on arrival.
  • Thanh Ha if the hour is pottery. A lantern class or a cooking school that stops at the market or Tra Que is the other morning.
  • A slow afternoon after that. Spa fees are Check on arrival. Reaching Out Teahouse is the sit-down in an old shophouse.
  • A sunset boat on the Thu Bon. A fair ask is 200,000 to 300,000 VND for 30 minutes. Book through the hotel or bargain near the Central Market.
  • Before 9:00 on the last morning, the old town is the quiet walk. Bánh mì or cao lầu, a temple while it is empty, then mì Quảng if you are still in town for lunch.
