Cu Chi Củ Chi
Cu Chi is a district of tunnel complexes used by guerrilla fighters during the wars. The visitor site is a half-day from the city center, with a short stretch of widened tunnel you can crawl. It is a war-history stop, not a light outing.

The tunnels at Cu Chi are a maintained visitor site over a much larger wartime network. You walk a shaded path, see reconstructed traps and living spaces, and can crawl a short, enlarged tunnel section.
Go with a guide who will explain the history, or read before you arrive. Shooting ranges on site use live ammunition and are optional. The heat under the trees is real; morning is kinder.
Common questions
- How long do you spend underground?
- Most people crawl for a few minutes. The visit is mostly above ground.

Cu Chi by interest
War history only. Skip it for children who will not have the context, and skip it if you have already spent the morning at the War Remnants Museum and need a different kind of afternoon.
Getting there and around
A private car or a group tour from District 1 is the practical way. Combine it with a delta stop only if you accept a very long day.
