Nha Trang Nha Trang
Nha Trang is a beach city with a long municipal sand strip, island boat trips, and a mud-bath industry. Stay if you want the sea between Da Lat and the south. The city beach is busier and less wild than Phu Quoc.

The city beach runs along Tran Phu. Hotels face the sand, and the evenings belong to seafood rooms and the promenade. Islands in the bay are a boat day.
The Po Nagar Cham towers, just north of the center, are the historical stop and take under an hour.
Common questions
- Is the sea swimmable year-round?
- The calmer months are roughly February to September. Winter surf and rain make the beach a walk more than a swim.

Beach first. Add an island or the Cham towers, then move on if you are collecting cities.
Getting there and around
The airport is a short ride from the beach. Grab works. Island boats leave from the tourist port; book the afternoon you want, not a harbor scramble.
